The Outfitters Association of
America, better know as OAOA, was formed in
1999 by veteran outdoors television personality Wayne Pearson. During
almost 25 years of producing hundreds of TV programs, Wayne has visited
countless outfitters, lodges, marinas and fishing camps. During those
travels, he saw the need for an association dedicated to hardworking,
professional outfitters and guides. OAOA has grown into a large
association, providing numerous benefits to its members, and an
invaluable resource to the outdoors consumer.
Wayne is determined to do everything possible to ensure that our
outdoors heritage and sporting traditions are preserved, protected and
will always be available for our children and grandchildren.
